• Experience: Applicants must have experience in flooring sales, ideally 2-5 years. They should be familiar with various flooring materials (carpet, hardwood, vinyl, tile, etc.) and their pros and cons. Prior experience bidding on HUB-affiliated opportunities and securing state and federal contracts would be a plus.
• Product Knowledge: Applicants should have a strong understanding of different flooring types, installation processes, and relevant building materials.
• Sales Skills: Prior success in sales is crucial. Looking for someone with experience closing deals, building rapport with clients, and exceeding sales targets in a commission-based environment.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Applicants should be patient, understand customer needs, and build trust to guide them through the flooring selection process.
